Engine Ferrari, BPM 8200 cc.
Class KD 900 KG. Battaglini Agostino n.60 In 1969 a new BPM engine was installed, the one specially made by BPM for the Agusta team; 6964 cc, 8 V-cylinders, 8 double-barrel carburetors, double ignition, double overhead camshaft, 520 H.P. This engine was built in only four units (two for Marchisio Ermanno, one for Lupi Gino and one, the last one, especially for Battaglini Agostino who was not part of the team but had donated his Ferrari 12-cylinder engine - ex Fernando dell'Orto - to Count Agusta so that he could display it in the technical museum in Verghera that the Count had in mind to build) Photographed at the hauling - Zurigo 1969- last Race Archive Battaglini Last updated on 02/02/2013 |
