2023 was the 25th season of meetings in the "historic boats" sector of the FIM, a sector which has - in fact - included the largest number of participants and boats for some years now. Between 1954 and 1975, the Milanese shipyard San Marco has written some of the most important pages in the history of post-war motor boating. San Marco has been the only site to have used, both for its racing boats for the production, from the automobile engines built by Italian most known builders such as Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat and Abarth. Not surprisingly, many of the models produced by San Marco were called "600 Ocean", "Juliet of the Sea" or even simply "Appia", all speedboats, in particularly fine wood, with elegant lines and refined details. Like a fashion designer or a reputable body shop, for over 20 years, Oscar Scarpa, founder of the site, built with his son Sandro about 600 exclusive boats, each with unique characteristics, both technical and aesthetic.
